He is the author of The Purpose Driven Life, the bestselling hardback in American history, with over 30 million copies sold worldwide. He built the Purpose Driven Network, a global alliance of pastors from 162 countries and hundreds of denominations who have been trained to be purpose driven churches. He also founded Pastors.com – an online interactive community that provides sermons, forums, and other practical resources for pastors. Pastor Warren and his wife Kay are passionate about global missions and what he calls “attacking the five global giants” of poverty, disease, spiritual emptiness, self-serving leadership, and illiteracy. Francis Chan is the best-selling author of books, Crazy Love & Forgotten God, and the host of the BASIC.series. Francis’ has a new book that came out in July 2011 called “Erasing Hell.” Francis is the founding pastor of Cornerstone Church in Simi Valley, California, and is the founder of Eternity Bible College. He also sits on the board of directors of Children’s Hunger Fund and World Impact. Francis now lives in Northern California with his wife, Lisa, and their children.
KAY WARREN is the Founder of the HIV & AIDS Initiative at Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, CA. She is a Bible teacher, author, and international speaker. Warren frequently travels the globe to encourage HIV positive men, women, and vulnerable children, and today she is a powerful voice on their behalf. Married to Rick Warren, together they founded Saddleback Church in 1980. In 2007, Kay authored Dangerous Surrender, and the revised and expanded softcover edition, retitled Say Yes to God, was released in 2010. She also co-authored Foundations, a systematic theology course used in churches around the world. Look for Kay’s new book, Choose Joy, Because Happiness Isn’t Enough, to be released April 1, 2012. She has three children and five grandchildren, and lives in Southern California.
Dr. Crawford Loritts is senior pastor at Fellowship Bible Church in Roswell, Georgia. He has served as served as a national evangelist with the American Missionary Fellowship and as an evangelist and church planter with the Urban Evangelistic Mission. In 1978 Crawford and Karen joined the staff of Campus Crusade for Christ (CCC) serving as a traveling speaker, ministering to both college students and the lay community. He is a frequent speaker for professional sports teams, including three Super Bowls and the NCAA Final Four Chapel. He and his wife, Karen, are featured speakers at Family Life’s marriage and parenting conferences. Crawford has written numerous articles and has written multiple books including Leadership as an Identity, Developing Character In Your Child (co-authored with his wife, Karen) and For A Time We Cannot See.
Jedd serves as President of the Christian Alliance for Orphans. Previously, Jedd served in the White House, leading the Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives. In this role, he guided reform efforts across the government to make the creativity and compassion of local non-profits central in all Federal efforts to aid the needy, from prisoner reentry to Global AIDS. Jedd also held a range of posts in the California State Legislature, and helped establish the California Community Renewal Project, which strengthens non-profits in some of the state’s most challenged communities. He has worked, studied and served in more than thirty countries, with organizations ranging from Price-Waterhouse, Moscow to Christian Life Bangladesh. Jedd has written numerous articles and two books, including The Revolutionary Communicator and co-authoring Four Souls.
